Born when the world stood still

Mmm Canada was born in the middle of the pandemic — a time when borders closed, planes stayed grounded, and the world suddenly couldn't travel. We watched people longing to explore, to visit the loved ones they couldn't reach, to feel somewhere new and taste a different place. And we wondered: what if you could experience Canada — and send a piece of it to someone far away — without ever leaving home?

So we set out to capture this country in chocolate — its crisp winters, golden orchards and wild pine forests — in flavours you can actually taste. What began as a little escape for people stuck indoors became Canada's first commemorative chocolate bar: a taste of Canada to share with anyone, anywhere in the world.
